What is Pwd-Gen ?
Have you ever counted all the things which need
a password to be protected ? Your internet mailbox, your internet
access account, your account on several internet websites memberships,
etc...
A good password should not be in the dictionary
and it should be really hard to guess with a brute-force hacking
tool.
Pwd-Gen assists you by generating a random password
for you.
Passwords generated by Pwd-Gen are especially hard
to find since they include letters and digits.
Pwd-Gen can also generate 4-digit and 8-digit numeric
passwords.
How to use Pwd-Gen (requirements, using the tool)
Pwd-Gen works best under :
Windows 95/98/ME - Windows NT 4 and later - Windows 2000
To use Pwd-Gen, just install it and click on the "Generate"
button to obtain a unique password.
Known bugs of Pwd-Gen
Pwd-Gen v1.2 installation wizard couldn't work
with Windows 2000. This has been fixed in Pwd-Gen v1.3.
